How to give access to Google Search Console
Search Console is where you see how your site shows up in Google search. Giving your agency access lets them spot indexing problems and track rankings. Only a property owner can add users, and there's no invitation to accept, so access is immediate.

How to do it
01
Open Search Console
Sign in at search.google.com/search-console and pick your website from the property dropdown in the top left.
search.google.com/search-console
02
Go to Users and permissions
Click Settings near the bottom of the left menu, then Users and permissions.
Settings → Users and permissions
03
Add the user
Click Add user in the top right and enter their email address.
04
Choose the permissions
Owner has full control including adding and removing users. Full can view all data and take most actions, and is enough for almost every agency. Restricted is view only.
Tip.
Most agencies only need Full. Give Owner only if they need to add other users, submit removals, or link Search Console to Google Ads or Analytics.
05
Click Add
Access is immediate. There's no email to accept.
Careful.
Anyone with Owner permission can remove other users, including you. If you hand out Owner, keep at least one verified owner that belongs to your company.
HOW TO KNOW IT WORKED
The person appears in the Users and permissions list with the role you chose, and your property shows up in their Search Console dropdown right away.
