How to find your Meta Ad Account ID
Your Ad Account ID is the number an agency needs to request access to your ads. It's easy to find and there are a few places it lives.

How to do it

Open Ads Manager
Go to adsmanager.facebook.com and sign in.

Check the account dropdown
Click the account name in the top left corner. Each ad account shows its name with a long number underneath. That number is the Ad Account ID.

Or read it from the address bar
Look at your browser's address bar. The digits right after act= are the same ID. It looks like ...?act=123456789012345.

Or copy it from account settings
Open the menu in Ads Manager and choose Ad account settings. The Ad account ID sits at the top of the page, which is the cleanest place to copy it from.
Menu → Ad account settings → Ad account ID
Tip. Some tools show the ID as act_123456789. The act_ prefix isn't part of the number. Drop it when you paste the ID into a form.

Send it to whoever needs it
Share the number with your agency so they can request access. Grant that access through Partners rather than sharing your login.
Careful.
Sharing your Ad Account ID lets someone request access to the account. Only send it to people you plan to authorize.
HOW TO KNOW IT WORKED
The number in the account dropdown matches the act= value in your address bar. When your agency requests access with it, the request shows up under Requests in your business settings.
