HOW-TO
How to build your first automation
An automation in PRYNT CRM is a simple rule: when this happens, do that. When someone fills out your website form, text them right away, wait a day, then send a follow up email. Set it up once and it runs on its own for every new lead.

How to do it
01
Understand the two parts
A trigger is what starts the automation, like a form being submitted. Actions are what happens next, like sending a text, waiting, or sending an email. Every automation is a trigger followed by one or more actions.
02
Create the workflow
Go to Automation, then Workflows, and click Create Workflow. Choose to start from scratch, or pick a template if one matches what you want.
Automation → Workflows → Create Workflow
03
Add the trigger
Click Add New Trigger and pick what starts it, such as Form Submitted (then choose the specific form) or Contact Created. Save the trigger.
Careful. Once published, the automation fires for every matching contact, automatically. Don't attach sales messages to broad triggers like Contact Created unless you want every new contact, including imported lists, to receive them.
04
Add your actions
Click the plus under the trigger and add your first action, for example Send SMS. Write the message; you can drop in the contact's first name. Save it. Add more steps the same way, such as Wait for one day, then Send Email.
+ →Send SMS → Wait → Send Email
Tip. Add yourself as a test contact and use Test Workflow, or submit your own form, so you see exactly what customers will get before it goes live.
05
Save
Click Save in the top right. A red dot on the button means there are unsaved changes.
06
Publish
Switch the toggle in the top right from Draft to Publish. Nothing runs until you do.
HOW TO KNOW IT WORKED
The workflow shows as Published in your Workflows list. After a test submission, open the workflow's enrollment history and confirm your test contact appears with each step marked complete, and check your phone and inbox for the messages.
Steps reflect the platform as of August 17, 2026. Menus change; if something looks different, tell us and we will update this guide.
